Subject:La Semaine Française
From March 21st to 24th, the Canadian Parents for French (CPF) Saugeen Shores chapter hosted French Week at École Port Elgin-Saugeen Central School. Throughout the week, all students and staff members enjoyed treats, such as hot chocolate (chocolat chaud) along with some typical French cuisine.  Activities included games of bingo en français, a French movie for Core and French Immersion students, and even a chance for parents to join in the fun during the evening of March 22nd.  Another highlight was an art contest focusing on appreciation of the French language and culture, which brought in numerous entries.  The top three in each division (junior/intermediate) received prizes.

During the week, the Bonhomme mascot was spotted several times walking in the halls and visiting classes!  Merci beaucoup to the CPF members for their time and effort in putting together a fun and enjoyable week.
