Subject:World Teachers’ Day 2016 on October 5th
The annual tradition of World Teachers’ Day is being celebrated on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.  Students, families and members of our school communities throughout Bluewater District School Board are encouraged to thank a teacher for their contributions and the immeasurable positive difference they make each day, both in the classroom and in the lives of our students.

“We are truly fortunate to have such an outstanding and diverse group of staff in Bluewater.  When I visit our schools and see firsthand the amazing work that is taking place, I am proud of the contributions of all who support the education of our students.  On World Teachers’ Day, we focus our gratitude on our teachers, whose boundless dedication and innovation play an essential role in the success of our students,” says Director of Education Steve Blake.

Please join us on World Teachers’ Day as we say ‘thank you’ to our teachers in Bluewater District School Board for the tremendous difference they make in “Preparing Our Students Today for the World of Tomorrow.”
