Subject:Students Hike for Bruce Trail’s 50th
To:
On Thursday, May 11th, Grey Highlands Secondary School students from the Environmental Studies program, four-credit outdoor education class, joined the Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Club to participate in the 50th Anniversary Baton Relay in celebration of the opening of the Bruce Trail.  From April 1st to June 10th, volunteers from all nine of the Bruce Trail Clubs are engaged in an end-to-end hike of the Bruce Trail from Niagara to Tobermory through the passing of a baton.  It was a truly exhilarating experience for the students, who hiked the Bruce Trail between Eugenia Falls and Hogg’s Falls.
