Community Education / Community Use
Peninsula Shores District School
115 Moore St., Wiarton, ON N0H 2T0

Peninsula Shores District School has been designated as a "Priority School" by the Ministry of Education.  This initiative is a joint project between the Bluewater District School Board and the Ministry of Education aimed at making school space more accessible in communities that need it most.

As part of the Community Use of Schools program, the Ontario Ministry of Education has selected schools throughout the province to provide enhanced access to its facilities during non-school hours.  For these schools, funding has been specifically established to provide free access for not-For-Profit Groups with priority given to groups serving children and youth and low income groups.

For more information about the Priority Schools initiative and how to apply for space, please contact Kris Klages, Permit Co-ordinator at 1-800-661-7509 or 519-363-2014 Ext 2007.
