Board Meetings

May 15, 2007

The “Beat Goes On Awards” were created by the Grey Bruce Health Unit to recognize and honour individuals, groups, workplaces, schools and municipalities that are making changes to improve their own health, or the health of their employees or residents.

The press release from the Grey Bruce Health Unit stated “Grey Bruce Partners in Health is pleased to announce the winners of the 13th annual “The Beat Goes on Awards.”  Partners in Health Chair Barry Tschirhart, states “This year the announcement is later than usual, as the judging committee had trouble getting together due to all those storm days!”

“Again this year, we had some excellent applicants and we are pleased to see all the exciting work that is being done in the two counties to prevent chronic disease.  All the applications were deserving of recognition so it was a tough job for the committee to choose, and our congratulations goes out to all the entries for a job well done.”
Bluewater District School Board won four of the six awards.

Workplace Under 200 Employees
