Shared Solutions is a guide published by the Ministry of Education as a resource to help parents, educators and students with special needs to work together to prevent conflicts, resolve them and to help students to develop to their full potential and succeed in school.
This resource incorporates practical examples for using informal conflict resolution techniques and though intended to address these types of issues affecting students with special education needs, the strategies can also be used for all students, as it speaks to preventing conflict, positive climate, trust and building relationships.
