The following items were presented:
Updates:
•     On April 11th the fourth and final session of “Positive Behaviour Support Approach” Training occurred for Learning Resource Teachers, Behaviour Resource Teachers, Teachers of Developmental Learners, Section 23 and SALEP teachers.  The afternoon focused on using the positive behaviour approach for student specific programming.  These sessions were in partnership with Thames Valley Children’s Centre, Regional Support Associates and the board.
•     On April 11th there was a continuation of PD for educational assistants on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) by the Geneva Centre.  These sessions will be offered again in the fall on the PD days and SEAC is invited to attend.
•     The No Child Without program is doing well.  By the end of March, 159 students were enrolled in the program.  
•     Student Services staff will be offering summer institute sessions.•     Principals and vice-principals will be receiving a ½ day training session regarding the implementation of PPM 140 – Autism and Applied Behaviour Analysis.  This training has already occurred for educational assistants and teaching staff.

Agenda Items:
•     SEAC was given the changes to the ODA Annual Accessibility Plan for Bluewater.  SEAC will review the document and provide recommendations at the May meeting.•     SEAC was given the Amendments to the Special Education Plan 2007, June 2008.  SEAC will review the document and provide recommendations at the May meeting.
