VISION
Bluewater District School Board is a learning organization committed to a standard of excellence in fostering the academic, physical, social and emotional development of all our students.
We demonstrate respect for ourselves and others and an appreciation of individual differences.

BELIEFS
The Bluewater standard of excellence can be attained when a love of learning is shared by adults and students. We believe in: QUALITY, EQUITY, PARTNERSHIPS, ACCOUNTABILITY, and a SAFE ENVIRONMENT.
QUALITY
We believe:
 in a standard of excellence throughout our system. in clear, consistent expectations that focus on high academic standards.
growth occurs when we demonstrate continuous improvement.
it is important for all individuals to set high standards for themselves in all areas of personal growth.
effective thinking skills need to be taught and practiced.
the major goal of evaluation is the improvement of performance.
in a strong academic program, enhanced by co-curricular activities and real world experiences.
EQUITY
We believe:
in ensuring that the school system is free of barriers and biases.
equity must exist in the curriculum, human relationships and individual opportunities.
Bluewater schools are places to celebrate diverse learning abilities, skills and talents.

the education of our children is a responsibility shared by the students, school, home and the local community.
