Budget Approval 2010-11
At a regular Board meeting held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, Trustees of the Board approved the 2010-11 Budget. The highlights of the Budget are included in the2010-11 Budget Backgrounder.

Information related to preparation of the 2010-11 Budget is as follows:
In February, Bluewater District School Board commenced preparation of the 2010-11 Budget. The bulk of the budget is accounted for by wages and benefits, transportation costs, plant supplies, contracts and debt administration. Participants are invited to review a budget discussion guide, Budget 101, and the Ministry of Education School Funding Guide for Parents. Both are available here:
A public budget consultation meeting was held at the Chesley Education Centre on May 4, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The format for the meeting was a round-table discussion on the following issues: Outdoor Education Centre; Technology Centres; Special Education; Performing Arts; Impact of Declining Enrolment.
