This page will help you Install BEAM (known as FirstClass® Client) onto your computer at home over the Internet.

BEFORE INSTALLATION
If you already have the First Class client installed on your computer and want to perform an upgrade, you need make sure that you are not logged into your account before proceeding.

Once you've logged out, check to make sure that First Class is not active under your minimized programs.  
See the image on right.
If you see the FirstClass icon in the quick launch window,
Right click over it and select "Exit"

DOWNLOAD & INSTALL
  • To download the software, click the appropriate link in the Table of Firstclass Software below.
  • When prompted, click DOWNLOAD and Save to your computer.
  • Wait while the install file downloads to your computer.
  • After the file downloads, double-click on the file to begin the install.
  • When the installation automatically begins, follow the prompts to install and click FINISH at the end.

FINAL STEPS
Once you've clicked FINISH, the login window will open after a few seconds.  
As in the diagram below, you should see the server information as circled below.
To enter the missing information,
Click the "Setup" button
In the box beside "Server:" type in
fc.bwdsb.on.ca
Click "Save"
