General Interest
General Interest courses are offered at schools throughout Bluewater.  Please click here for information on courses currently offered.  Information is updated often, please check back regularly.  

For instructors who have a skill or knowledge that they would like to share - whether it is crafts, computers, digital cameras, fitness/health related, cooking or mechanics, we would love to hear from you!  The community education department is happy to help you find appropriate space in our schools, organize dates and times, and help you get the information out to the public.  For more information, please contact Kris Klages at kris_klages@bwdsb.on.ca or 1-800-661-7509 ext. 2007





Driver Education
Driver Education courses for secondary students are offered at all secondary schools throughout the school year.  For course dates and detailed information or to register, click here.

Summer School/Adult Education
Summer school offers secondary school students an opportunity to earn extra credits or earn missed credits.  Programming for elementary students in Grades 7 & 8 is also offered.  Please click here for more information.  Adult credit courses are offered based on demand.  Click here for information on courses currently offered.

Community Use of Schools

Language Programs
ESL – English as a Second Language is a program for adults whose first language is neither English nor French.  Our qualified instructors and excellent facilities provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for people of all abilities.  ESL classes are currently being offered at Grey Highlands Secondary School, Flesherton; Huron Heights Public School, Kincardine and OSCVI, Owen Sound.  For class dates/times, click here.  


Community School Membership Fee
Not-for-profit recreation groups and community organizations under a volunteer leader may use school facilities regularly under our Community School Membership Fee (CSMF) Program.  Click here for more information.
