Director’s Message – UPDATED October 6, 2017
This is the time of year where we ought to pause to give thanks for the meaningful people in our lives.  We think about family, friends, and our Bluewater District School Board colleagues who support us as well as each other throughout the year.

I am thankful for the opportunity to work in Bluewater with the students, parents, trustees, staff, and community partners who are committed to ensuring students in our local area have every opportunity afforded to others across this province and beyond.  There could never be enough thanks for all your support, care, hard work, and dedication!

I would be remiss if I did not mention the opportunity we have to live and work in such a beautiful part of Ontario and Canada.  The spectacular fall leaves, bountiful harvest, breathtaking country landscapes, provincial parks, and pristine water in our backyard exemplify this rare treasure known as Bruce and Grey Counties.  In a global era of uncertainty and volatility, we are truly fortunate to have such a safe and serene corner of the world to call home.

This Thanksgiving, please take time for some quiet reflection, and to show appreciation for all the people and things you are thankful for during the year and in your life.  I extend my personal thanks to all of you, and wish you many happy moments of gratitude with family and friends.
