Bluewater School Administrators' Profile
School Community Council Consultation

Bluewater continues to develop and promote strong leaders in our schools.  A thorough Bluewater School Administrators’ Selection and Appointment Process ensures that administrative candidates have a solid foundation in learning and leadership.  The selection process is comprised of five components:
•    Resume / Covering Letter
•    Supervisor’s Report
•    Written Assignment
•    Task Assignments
•    Interview

A Bluewater School Administrators’ Profile lists the characteristics that are essential for Bluewater Principals and Vice-Principals.  The various characteristics utilized during the Selection and Appointment Process includes:

•    Personal
•    Interpersonal
•    Administrative
•    Cultural
•    Political

In addition, school community councils can provide important information for the selection of our future administrative leaders.  School Community Councils are invited to identify characteristics that are of particular relevance to its school.

Completed consultation forms are to be forwarded by May 6, 2011 to:
John Bryant, Director of Education
P.O. Box 190, 351 – 1st Ave. N.
Chesley, ON, NOG 1L0

or by email to Bev_Sims@bwdsb.on.ca

Thank you for your continued support to our schools and community.
