2017-18 Budget

At a Regular Meeting of the Board held on June 20, 2017, the Board of Trustees approved the 2017-18 budget by passing the following resolution:

"That Bluewater District School Board approve the 2017-18 Operating Budget resulting in an in-year operating surplus of $45,000 with the surplus transferred to reserves in the amount of $45,000."

The approval was based on the information presented to trustees at the Business Committee meeting on June 6, 2017. To review the budget report information, click here.

2017-18 Budget Public Consultation Survey

Bluewater District School Board invited the public to participate in an online survey as part of the annual budget planning process. Students, parents/guardians, staff, and other stakeholders were encouraged to provide their feedback through a short series of questions to help the Board of Trustees identify priorities for the efficient, effective and equitable use of board resources in 2017-18. The survey was open until Friday, March 24, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.

Members of the public and stakeholders were also invited to present their ideas for the 2017-18 budget at the Committee of the Whole Board meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. There were no delegations.
