At a Regular Meeting of the Board held on June 21, 2016, the Board of Trustees approved the 2016-17 budget by passing the following resolution:
"That Bluewater District School Board approve the 2016-17 Operating Budget in the amount of $196,738,710 in Revenues, $196,849,151 in Expenditures, resulting in a ministry compliant in-year operating deficit of $110,441, funded from reserves in the amount of $110,441."

2016-17 Budget Public Information Meeting
Bluewater District School Board invited the public to participate in the annual budget planning process. A public meeting regarding the 2016-17 budget was held to share information and receive feedback at the Bluewater District School Board Education Centre in Chesley on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 6 p.m.
Parents and stakeholders were invited to participate in order to help inform board trustees and staff in budget development and decision-making.
Members of the public and stakeholders also had the opportunity to present as delegations at the meeting. There were no delegations.
