At a regular Committee of the Whole Board Meeting held on June 16, 2015, Trustees of the Board passed the following motion:
That Bluewater District School Board approve the 2015-16 Operating Budget in the amount of $197,178,443 in Revenues, $197,628,723 in Expenditures, resulting in a ministry compliant in-year operating deficit of $450,280, funded from reserves in the amount of $450,280.

June 2, 2015 Business Committee Meeting
At the Business Committee Meeting held on June 2, 2015, trustees received a report and presentation on the final 2015-16 Budget. Trustees passed the following resolution:
"That the Business Committee recommend to the board that it approve the 2015-16 Operating Budget in the amount of $197,178,443 in Revenues, $197,628,723 in Expenditures, resulting in a ministry compliant in-year operating deficit of $450,280, funded from reserves in the amount of $450,280."
The recommendation will go forward to the Board on Trustees for approval at a Board Meeting to be held on June 16, 2015.

May 12, 2015 Business Committee Budget Meeting
The Business Committee held an additional meeting to discuss the 2015-16 budget on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at the Education Centre in Chesley. Trustees had the opportunity to ask specific questions and receive responses related to the budget.

2015-16 Budget Public Information Meeting
Bluewater District School Board is once again seeking public input as part of the annual budget planning process.
A public meeting regarding the 2015-2016 budget was held at the Bluewater District School Board Education Centre in Chesley on Tuesday, March 31, 2015
Parents and stakeholders were invited to participate in an effort to assist trustees and senior staff as they work to reach a balanced budget.
Members of the public and stakeholders also had the opportunity to present as delegations at the meeting.

Questions regarding the 2015-16 Budget will be accepted until Monday, April 6, 2015 by emailing [email protected]. Responses will be included as part of the budget process and deliberations.
