GHSS students on stage with Leroy the Lion and signs that display the numbers $3,000The spirit of giving has touched Grey Highlands Secondary School in a powerful way this year!  Students and staff, along with community members and local businesses, have raised $3,000 to go towards supporting local food banks this holiday season.  It is especially important during these challenging times to help those who may be struggling financially.  Thanks are extended to all those who contributed to this cause.

GHSS auto program students in their autoshop with boxes of donation items on skids and sign, "Thank you Ford Motor Company of Canada"The school also received an amazing donation from Ford Motor Company of over 100 pieces of equipment, including transmissions, power steering racks, and motors of all kinds, among many other items.  The donation was delivered on 14 skids!   Rachael Banks, the new auto teacher, is to be commended for making the connection and doing all the negotiating.  This will ensure the auto program can stay relevant for a long time to come.

Grey Highlands Seconday School wishes everyone a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season!
