Tuesday, October 18, 2022 is Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day.
Bluewater District School Board thanks and recognizes all of our staff and child care partners who make an immeasurable difference in the lives, learning, growth, and well-being of our youngest children and students. We appreciate their amazing efforts and daily contributions in our classrooms, schools, work sites, and child care centres, to foster a love of learning and role model responsibility, caring, inclusion, and acceptance.
The Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care, the Canadian Union of Public Employees, municipalities, and school boards across Ontario are proclaiming this important day, which marks its 22nd anniversary this year. Hundreds of child care centres, unions, and allies also honour the occasion annually.
Please join us today to celebrate these special members of our school communities by thanking a child care worker, early childhood educator, educational assistant, and/or other individual who works closely with our youngest learners.
