World Education Support Personnel Day

World Education Support Personnel (ESP) Day was launched in connection with Education International’s first-ever ESP Conference in 2018, following the adoption of the ESP Resolution at the 2015 7th World Congress. The Conference endorsed a declaration on the rights and status of education workers, calling for its application worldwide.

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF/FEESO) will join the world on May 16, 2020 in celebrating World Education Support Personnel Day. Bluewater District School Board joins OSSTF/FEESO and many others in education to recognize and celebrate the contributions and important role of education workers in helping to create bright futures for all students.

Education is Ontario’s best investment for a bright and secure future. Education workers play a prominent role in delivering services that contribute to our students’ success. Bluewater District School Board supports and celebrates these valuable contributions.

On World Education Support Personnel Day, please take some time to acknowledge the critically important efforts and skills that all workers bring to ensuring the education and well-being of our students.
