Words of welcome from Chief Executive Officer AJ Keene and greetings on behalf of the board from Chair Jane Thomson preceded the formal presentation of gifts to long service recipients for 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of service. Trustees were joined by superintendents to congratulate and distribute the tokens of appreciation as each staff member approached the podium. Retirees were next to receive accolades for their years of contributions along with a school bell symbolizing their remarkable careers dedicated to public education.
