A Special Regular Meeting of the Board was held for trustees to discuss a report and recommendations by Michael L. Maynard of ADR Chambers, Office of the Integrity Commissioner. Michael L. Maynard was retained by Bluewater District School Board to investigate several Code of Conduct complaints concerning Trustee Derrick Long.
Trustees approved the following motions:
That Trustee Long has contravened the Code of Conduct, specifically sections 3.1 (i), 3.1 (ii), 3.1 (iii), 3.3 (ii), 3.4 (iv), 3.4 (v), and 3.5 (i), as outlined in the Integrity Commissioner’s Report.
That the board impose the following sanctions on Trustee Long:
