We commend the many Bluewater District School Board students, staff, and others within our school communities, who demonstrate a commitment to promoting safe, inclusive, and accepting learning and working spaces for all within our schools and work sites. Countless examples are evident year-round in our school communities of amazing individual and collaborative efforts aimed at cultivating safe spaces where bullying has no place to thrive and survive. Thank you to all who continue to model our board mission, “To provide a quality education for every student in a safe, accepting, and caring environment.”

The Ministry of Education has released the “Bullying: we can all help stop it” guide to share important information on bullying and guidance to support children who may be affected. Please visit ontario.ca/StopBullying. Download the flyer here.

#BWDSBkind on Social Media
During Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week, students, staff, families, and members of our local communities are once again invited to let us know about acts of kindness on social media. This can be something that has occurred in one of our schools or work sites, or in the community. Be sure to tag @BluewaterDSB on Facebook, Instagram, or X using the hash tag #BWDSBkind. We want to go viral for kindness!
