We take this opportunity to acknowledge the many anti-bullying efforts and initiatives coordinated by students and staff across all our Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB) schools and work sites, this week and year-round.

In alignment with our board mission, “To provide a quality educational experience for every student in a safe and inclusive environment,” we remain committed to the following strategic priority and associated goals:

Priority: Safe Supportive Learning Community

i. work together to support well-being, equity, and inclusiveness
ii. continue to value students and their voices
iii. engage families and communities to support students and enhance learning
iv. continue progress towards reconciliation with Indigenous peoples

From clubs and theme days to student forums and recognition of provincial, national, and global days of significance that are focused on equity and inclusion, bullying awareness and prevention is a continuous target in BWDSB.

#BWDSBkind on Social Media

Once again, students, staff, families, and members of our BWDSB communities are invited to share their acts of kindness on social media. This can be something that has occurred in one of our schools or work sites, or in the community. Tag @BluewaterDSB on Facebook and Instagram using the hash tag #BWDSBkind. We are going viral for kindness!
