Bluewater District School Board is partnering with The White Hatter, a leading organization in digital literacy and internet safety education, to offer a three-part webinar series for parents and caregivers. Join our live HD broadcasts to learn about evidence-informed strategies for guiding and supporting your children around important topics impacting youth.

Session #1

Date: Thursday May 1, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
Digital Literacy and Internet Safety for Parents and Caregivers

This session will help families proactively understand the enabling power of technology and mobile communications while mitigating high-risk or undesirable online behaviour.

Date: Wednesday May 14, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
Gaming Concerns, Balance, Addiction, and Opportunities
This session will help families create healthy gameplay boundaries based on credible peer-reviewed research while examining both the positives and negatives of online gaming.

The Good of Social Media, Technology, and Teens

While media often highlights negative aspects of social media, this session explores the many positive and innovative ways teens use social platforms.
