As we look back on the past year, and head into the winter break, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation on behalf of Bluewater District School Board’s trustees and senior staff.

To our students, staff, families, partners, and others within our Grey and Bruce communities, THANK YOU for all your hard work and contributions in 2025. The spirit of our board mission, “To provide a quality educational experience for every student in a safe and inclusive environment,” has been well represented and modeled in countless ways. There is no shortage of memorable moments and accomplishments to celebrate from corner to corner across our district.

Despite the many causes for celebration, we also acknowledge an unprecedented year for tragedies within several of our schools and communities. These losses have left a profound and lasting impact on those schools and our entire board. As we move into the holiday season, we hold in our thoughts the families and loved ones most affected, knowing that the coming weeks will be especially difficult for them.

Regardless of your traditions and circumstances, we hope that this time of year offers ample opportunities for rest, connection, and care with those closest to you. From all of us in Bluewater, we wish you a safe, peaceful, and restorative holiday season, and look forward to our continued work together in 2026.
