With daylight saving time beginning this Sunday, we are excited to welcome March Break with the prospect of longer days! Hopefully, this translates to a lengthy stretch of sunshine and milder temperatures as families use this time to connect and decompress from the wild days of winter just passed.
March Break always generates a buzz in Grey-Bruce as communities and organizations offer up a variety of activities for students to enjoy. From the arts and science to movies and music, there is plenty for all grade levels to keep learning active. We encourage parents/guardians who are looking for ideas for their children to check with their local libraries, museums, and municipalities.
Above all else, March Break is an opportunity for self-care and personal wellness. The Board of Trustees and senior leadership team recognize how critically important it is for each of us to prioritize this aspect of our lives. We know the hard work and multiple responsibilities that our students, staff, and families must balance during the school year. Regardless of your commitments over the next week, we hope you get a chance to tend to your own fulfillment and enjoy time well spent with friends and family.
Happy March Break!
