For several months, Bluewater District School Board, Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, and Shared School Services have been negotiating with our local bus operators to reach a renewed transportation agreement, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education. Throughout this process, we worked to balance the cost pressures facing operators with our responsibility to manage public funds responsibly.
We are glad to confirm that an agreement in principle has been reached, and student transportation will proceed as normal for the start of the school year in September. We recognize the uncertainty this situation may have caused, and we appreciate families' continued patience.
Families are asked to complete all standard back-to-school transportation steps as soon as possible, including logging in to Edulog. The most important step is to opt in for transportation for each child. Students will not be assigned to a bus route unless this step is completed.

We look forward to a great start to the school year and thank our bus operators, staff, and families for working through this together.
