Description:
Topic 1: Pedagogical Documentation in the Secondary Classroom

Description:
Teachers will learn effective pedagogical documentation strategies to support triangulation of assessment data, differentiation in the de-streamed classroom, and how to effectively use learning goals and success criteria to clarify students’ learning. Through a variety of activities, secondary teachers will learn how to collect, organize, and utilize electronic assessment data for observations, and conversations in the secondary classroom.

Topic 2: Applying Documentation of Assessment Strategies

Description: Secondary teachers will gain further understanding on how to implement and apply pedagogical documentation to the assessments developed on the April 8, 2024 Professional Activity Day and develop a plan to utilize this form of data collection in future lessons.

Topic 3: Inclusive Education – Indigenous Ways of Knowing

Description: Indigenous Advisors will provide knowledge about Indigenous ways of knowing and support for teachers to integrate Indigenous content into subject specific lesson plans.
