Bluewater District School Board students, parents/guardians, staff, trustees, volunteers, partners, families, and communities are invited to seek out creative ways this week to acknowledge and celebrate student achievement and well-being.  It is also an opportunity to recognize the impact of education and its ability to captivate and inspire young minds.

Over the past few years, the members of our school communities have endured unprecedented, once-in-a-lifetime experiences through the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic.  In Bluewater, many of our traditional methods of teaching, learning, working, and interacting were challenged to swiftly change course, adapt, and frequently readapt unlike any other time in recent history.  With our spirit and determination put to the test, we were still somehow able to combine our efforts and find successes and silver linings during the most unpredictable of times.

As we ‘move forward’, we welcome the return of previous learning traditions and social activities, which foster achievement and well-being in our Bluewater schools and work sites.

Happy Education Week!

Bluewater District School Board is located on the traditional land of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, which is represented by the communities of Saugeen First Nation and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation.
