Bluewater District School Board is committed to the providing services that are free of barriers and biases to our students, parents/ guardians, the public and our staff. In response to Ontario Regulation 429/07 Accessibility Standards for Customer Service the following policy has been approved by the Bluewater District School Board.

The following procedures relate to this policy:

Disruption of Customer Service

When services that are normally provided to a person with a disability are temporarily unavailable, such as access to an elevator, ramp or washroom, disruptions of service will be listed on this page and on individual specific school websites.

Barrier Free Amenities

The following Barrier Free Amenities are available at this facility:
Bluewater Education Centre
Designated Parking
Seven (7) spaces available with access to the MAIN Entrance Door
Power Door Operator
MAIN Entrance Door
Barrier Free Washrooms
Main Floor and Second Floor levels
Sound Enhancement System
Available in the following rooms upon request:
Teeswater River Meeting Room
Saugeen River Board Room

Service Disruptions in Bluewater

To: Parents, Guardians and Community Users of our School 

Our elevator is out of service.  Repairs are underway and the elevator is expected to be inaccessible until further notice.  We expect our elevator will be back in service again by the end of this week.  We are supporting individuals on a case by case need. We regret this inconvenience. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Sara Morrow at 519 376-2010 ext 527.
