It is time to pre-register your child for kindergarten! Whether this is your first child entering school or your fourth, it is an exciting time for you, and your child. In order to help prepare for school, we invite you to pre-register online for your school area. By pre-registering online, you and your child will be able to:
- learn about the kindergarten program;
- learn how to support your child’s transition to school;
- learn more about healthy growth and development; and
- learn about community resources.
You may wonder why children are pre-registered for kindergarten almost a year prior to school entry. Pre-registration is an opportunity to foster a relationship with the school and support this important transition for your child.
