Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day
Thursday, October 22, 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day. We recognize and celebrate our many Bluewater District School Board early childhood educators and child care partners for all they do to support our youngest learners, whether in the classroom or a school-based child care centre.  We also extend our appreciation to our educational assistants, teaching staff, and administrators who work with young children on an ongoing basis.

This year’s timely theme is “Rising Up!” as we reflect on the resilience and commitment to student/child safety and well-being that these amazing workers continue to demonstrate in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please take a moment to express your gratitude during Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day to one of these special individuals.  Their care, responsibility, and professionalism are invaluable in helping to guide and develop the life skills of our new and future students.

Bluewater District School Board is located on the traditional land of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, which is represented by the communities of Saugeen First Nation and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation.
