New Build - Beavercrest

Bluewater District School Board is thrilled to receive approved funding from the Ministry of Education for a new 374 pupil school in the town of Markdale, Ontario. This new school will replace the current Beavercrest Community School and will host both child care rooms and EarlyON at the same location.

The funding amount for the school, child care and EarlyON is more than $20.7 million. An approved change of scope and funding for the construction of two additional classrooms was announced by on July 19, 2024. The project scope change will bring the approved funding student spaces to 374 from the originally funded 328. To view the full media release, please click here
